Sending text messages is almost a part of our everyday routine, as it has been estimated that millions of text messages are sent on smartphones daily. It can be used as a medium to communicate with loved ones and even store valuable datas.

Now for some reasons we might have deleted valuable texts with the notion that it has been erased permanently. But with the help of mobkin app, it can easily be recovered in one sweep.

Steps on Recovering Deleted SMS (Text Messages) from Android Mobile Phone
We know that SMS messages is almost stored in the phone’s internal storage card, so in order to ensure the program can get the full access to the storage card, you need to root your Android phone and enable USB debugging before we start the whole process officially.

Below is some tips for you to open the USB debugging.
You can find the apk from Googleplay store

1) For Android 2.3 or earlier: Enter “Settings” < Click “Applications” < Click “Development” < Check “USB debugging”.
2) For Android 3.0 to 4.1: Enter “Settings” < Click “Developer options” < Check “USB debugging”.
3) For Android 4.2 or newer: Enter “Settings” < Click “About Phone” < Tap “Build number” for several times until getting a note “You are under developer mode” < Back to “Settings” < Click “Developer options” < Check “USB debugging”.

Step1: Connect Your Android Phone and Make it Detected
Connect Samsung, HTC, Motorola or other Android mobile phones to the computer via its USB cable, then launch the program. If you have done the above preparation works well, then the program will auto-detect your device and start scanning files on your phone.

But if your Android phone is running on a system of 4.2.2 or above, then a pop-up window will appear on your device just like the below interface. Just choose “Allow” > “OK” button firstly, and then the program will continue to detect and scan files.

Step 2: Preview the Text Conversation and Begin to Recover
Preview all your messages by left clicking the “message” button, and then mark what you need to recover and click the button “Recover” to save them on your PC.

I hope this helps in the recovery process. But to ensure that you don’t loose it next time, I’ll advice you back it up to a desktop or computer. I’ve written a post on how to backup your text messages to a computer
