Samsung LE32A436T 32 Inch LCD Television Review

There is no mistaking about it, the Samsung LE32A436T is a light weight, both figuratively and literally. But don’t get it wrong, it’s loaded with all that you can expect from a good LCD TV at an entry level. It’s lightweight because it has a virtually affordable price, and it is easy to install and carry from one place to another. One thing for sure, it’s a good addition to any room or family room. But, if you’re looking for something that will blow your mind with is video and audio performance, then the Samsung LE32A436T 32 inch LCD TV may not be the best choice for you.

The Samsung LE32A436T is indeed a looker, even though from afar you may think that it just looks like any other LCD TV in the market, its glossy black finish is not fingerprint proof, but it’s easy to wipe off. Like most Samsung TV’s its design is bare minimum, but extra touches to its frame makes it distinct from the others. And the simplicity doesn’t stop there, even though it’s an LCD TV that offers top quality, its set up is fairly easy and simple. With only 4 screws to mind when attaching it to a base and stand, all you have to do is to just plug it in, connect your cable or antenna and the machine will do the rest. Automatic scanning is the initial setting and although manual scanning is available, it’s not really necessary.

The Samsung LE32A436T also comes with a load of features that you normally expect from an LCD TV. First, because it already has Freeview, you won’t need a separate box, a definite money-saver. Other standard features include a sleep timer, clock and on/off timer, auto channel search, auto power off, auto volume leveller, teletext, and entertainment modes which include gaming, sport and movie modes.

Making the Samsung LE32A436T LCD TV the hub of your entertainment centre is relatively easy, and a joy for those who own multiple devices, like a home theatre, a DVD player, Blu-Ray, HDTV box, and gaming consoles like the PS3, XBOX 360, or WII. It also has a port for use as a computer monitor. The ports are not only found on the back, but there some at the side too, this makes it easier and better for accessibility. You will find a variety of ports like, 3 HDMI which features HDMI version 1.2 and Anynet+, 2 SCART, 1 component, 1 PC input, 1 composite, an optical audio output, and one for a headphone.

As for its sound quality, it is slightly above par and would be somewhat impressive given that it only comes with two ten watt speakers. If you don’t mind not having movie theatre quality sound in your home, then this will do. Sound quality can be tweaked and with the Trusurround technology, you can distinguish sounds much like you could with a 5.1 sound system. Nevertheless, the Samsung LE32A436T LCD TV provides true value for the money and can surpass any average television viewing demands.
