You probably might have heard of the trending blockbuster movie sing 2 by Illumination and was distributed by Universal Pictures. The movie is more of a musical concept and an American computer animated jukebox musical comedy film.
It is the sequel to Sing (2016) and the second film in the franchise, Garth Jennings returns as a co-director and writer. Christophe Lourdelet is a co-director.
The original Motion Picture Soundtrack of the sing 2, was released on December 17, 2021 by Republic Records. The songs were performed by the featured cast artists namely in no particular order : Reese Witherspoon, Scarlett Johansson, Taron Egerton, Tori Kelly, Nick Kroll, who appeared in the film.
It also featured popular songs performed by Kiana Ledé, BTS, Sam i, Billie Eilish, Elton John, Kygo, Whitney Houston, Anitta, Mercury Rev and several others, which were incorporated in the film’s soundtrack. All the songs were performed diegetically by the film’s cast.
21 tracks were featured in the album featured. U2 performed the film’s original song “Your Song Saved My Life”, and was released for public streaming and downloads on November 3, 2021.

The music video for the song was released on November 13th as a joint collaboration between the artist, label and production studios, to support Education Through Music (ETM), a non-profit organization, based on Los Angeles that “aims to help provide music as a core subject for children in under-resourced schools across North America”.
