TrueCaller a SmartPhone application developed by True Software Scandinavia AB. Truecaller finds contact details globally given name or telephone number, and has an integrated caller ID service to achieve call-blocking functionality and social media integration to keep the phonebook up-to-date with pictures and birthdays. The client is available for Android, BlackBerry OS, iOS, Series 40, Symbian s60, Firefox OS, Tizen, BlackBerry 10 and Windows Phone.
In a recent update, Truecaller has enhanced the existing version on the android platform making the recipient of the call is not able to pick the call because of network congestion or being in conversation with some other person then the application will notify a call to be back option. Pressing the notification on the app will navigate towards the dialer of the phone to proceed with the call.
Truecaller said that Such a feature is something that the telecom service providers have been aiming to aid their last mile call completion challenges for quite sometimes caused either by less than ideal network connectivity or call congestion / congested network
The team said, in order to use the feature, as a pre-requisite both caller and recipient should have the true caller app installed on their devices.
