Android Nougat has come to stay as it has also been referred to as the future of the Android smartphones. Android 7.0 Nougat is about to change the phase of Android OS, and ever since it’s release, millions of smartphone users have upgraded to its version even without knowing what they’ll be up against. I’ve written this article so you can weigh your options before jumping in.

What you may need to consider before upgrading to Android 7.0 Nougat ;

>Android Nougat comes with with enforced system integrity boot checks, which won’t allow Android to boot if the boot image or partitions are corrupt. Unlike the initials Android 4.4 kitkat OS that has supported verified boot.

Enforcing verified boot is definitely a step toward greater security for Android users, but it could also lead to more problems on devices suffering from software and/or hardware issues, where the possibility for disc corruptions to occur is greater.

>Installing custom roms would be difficult as Android 7.0 Nougat would be harder to root due to the enforcing of verified boot. Those with hard locked bootloaders will understand what I’m saying. But not to worry as I’m pretty sure that our computer geek are up to the task.

In other words, devices coming preloaded with Android 7.0 Nougat or upgraded to Android  7.0 might be root forbidden. Rooting it may result in  damaging the software hence corrupting the boot image.

You may not be able to tweak it the way you want.
So if you are addicted to rooted android devices so as to have absolute control, I’ll advice you think twice.
