Popular Nigerian Entertainment blogger, Linda Ikeji, has launched a social networking site called, “Linda Ikeji Social“. In August, Linda Ikeji announced she would be branching out to other forms of media with an online TV network, an online radio station, a music website, and something called “LIS.”
Many Nigerians were wondering what this “LIS” meant, and it seems we have our answer –Linda Ikeji Social. In her recent post today, she stated that “LIS is basically Facebook meets Linda Ikeji Blog meets ebay.com! You can connect with friends on LIS, chat, get the latest breaking news, sell your eye witness stories to us and get paid. You can also buy and sell your goods and services from authentic buyers and sellers”.
LIS though having a similar login page with facebook, is different from other social networking sites in the world because they claim you can make a lot of money by being one of their LIS affiliates via your business pages.
Apparently, the site has been in testing for some weeks, and today, November 1st was chosen as the launch date. I also heard that from next week LIS would be giving away 1milloin Naira.
To join this community, users can either create a free account or sign up using their Facebook accounts.
